Barcelona drew 1-1 when they hosted Sevilla in the Jornada 5 La Liga 2020/21 party which was held at Camp Nou, Monday (5/10/2020) in the morning

The two goals in this match all came at the start of the first half. Sevilla took the lead first thanks to Luuk de Jong's goal before being equalized by Philippe Coutinho.

Thanks to this result, Barcelona temporarily ranks fifth in the standings with seven points, while Sevilla is one level below it with the same points.

The game has only been running for eight minutes, Sevilla successfully took the lead through De Jong's goal. The Dutch striker fired a volley from inside the penalty box to break into Neto's goal.

Sevilla's advantage lasted only two minutes. Barcelona managed to equalize the score to 1-1 thanks to a goal from Coutinho after continuing Jordi Alba's assist.

Barcelona got several opportunities to turn things around. However, none of them resulted in a goal and a 1-1 draw lasted until the break. 

Coming back from the locker room, the match was back in a relatively balanced state. The two teams took turns pressing each other.

Despite the number of opportunities the two teams got, no additional goals were scored in the second half. The 1-1 score was the final result of this match.
